Trainwreck

My girlfriend likes to doodle when she's bored, and if I'm honest, her best doodles usually come around when I force her to watch Spurs. Her favourite band is Death From Above 1979, who are awesome, by the way, you should listen to them immediately if you haven't already. She doodled this gravestone and broken bottle from one of their EP covers and I took care of the rest.

For this poster, I had no real idea what I wanted to do, but I knew I didn't want it to be a sad piece, even though the focal point is a gravestone. I tried to blend a few styles together, giving it a cartoon feel with a slight touch of realism.
